I often gaze at a vintage Porsche and search for it's story but this car wasn't hard to understand. This car was Porsche's way of pulling in the American buyer during the epic muscle car era and became an icon of the time. Making in appearance in films such as Scarface and even staring in the 1983 Tom Cruise film, Risky Business. A 231HP 4.5L V8 mated to the desirable 5 speed dog leg transmission sending power to the rear wheels made this car fit right in, so much so that it was nicknamed "Germany's Corvette".
